Welcome to the underwaterworld of Hamburg’s fish-for-fish music Here is our brand new CD comin` up Wigbert Zelfel and Peter Horn have been playing music together for more than 20 years in famous German bands like Can, Fehlfarben, Abwärts, Palais Schaumburg and diverse Jazz formations. We have played the saxophones at many and various locations including the roof of the Schanzenviertel, the main theater, Schauspielhaus Hamburg, at Pontons by the River Elbe and on ships in the harbour.
We have
performed live on the documenta in Kassel and in Berlin (metropol) has travelled to France and Italy to perform.
In 2000 the Goethe Institute and Unesco invited us to the national theatre in Prishtina (Kosovo). We believe in the positive power of our music, it brings people together again in a spirit of peace.
fish- for- fish composed the soundtrack for the following movies: William Borroughs’ biography: - commissioner of sewers - and -Decoder- Klaus Maeck (hh) and from people of the high school of arts in Hamburg -wohin gehst du anna-.
In 2004 we also composed the music for a CD with lyrics called -Lass uns Kiesel stupsen vor den Füssen- written by Elke Blanke the dialogues were read by actors from the Thalia Theatre company in Hamburg isbn 3-9803100-1-9, live on stage: Peter Horn: alto sax, guitar, keyboard Wigbert Zelfel: tenor- and soprano sax, keyboard The music sounds like people dancing and flying under the sea. The breath of the sea means life and movement, listen to our sounds under the button music.
